LAMS Communication (lamscommunication.com), her virtual assistant services business, offers clients all over the globe assistance in writing, blogging and social media. Becky’s primary focus is on freelance writing for local and national publications, consulting, project management and creating bios and About Pages (a page on a website that shares details about that business). She is a frequent contributor to several local magazines like Her Voice, Lakes Area Living, Lake Country Journal, and the regional monthly magazine, HERLIFE.

Other daily tasks include writing for OPB (Other People’s Blogs) like jumpintoabook and Audrey Press. She is also the project manager for MCCBD (Multicultural Children’s Book Day); a national children’s literary event that works to raise awareness about the importance of diversity in children’s literature to teachers, parents, caregivers and librarians. Efforts are being made to sustain interest throughout the year to a worldwide audience by MCCBD
promoters.

Becky is a blogger and writer at Franticmommy.com and MomSquadCentral.com. Mom Squad Central has more local focus and is a venue which promotes area businesses or women-owned businesses. Franticmommy, her primary site, is written with a light humorous touch that provides a place where moms can come, read, and giggle a little with other moms about the challenges and joys of parenthood. Becky also hopes the blog site will be inspirational for those women who want to work from home. She frequently shares information, tips, and resources in the hope of empowering others to pursue dreams of business ownership.

Finding a balance between home time and work time can always be a challenge, and Becky is appreciative her job allows flex time. She always tries to be hyper-organized and diligent about staying far ahead of her deadlines. As a mompreneur, she is constantly evaluating her business to stay in step with current trends and needs, and is always looking for innovative ways to grow her business.

Becky’s entrepreneurial and visionary spirit with her businesses and blog, strong work ethic with a positive outlook, dedication to the craft of writing, championing moms working from home and promoting diversity in children’s literature is to be admired.
