Do Something Today to Surprise Yourself!
Well does it count when someone surprises me? 

Yesterday I received a phone call from a lady in a neighboring town from me (at the lake). She is a member of an organizations called P.E.O.   (Philanthropic Educational Organization). Their chapter has asked me to speak in July about my experiences being a food writer for the local newspaper Seasonal Plate and as an online food blogger.  One exciting part will be planning their lunch menu that day based on some recipes that were posted in the newspaper. They will have a crew that will shop for the foods and then prepare the lunch. I'll keep you posted on what recipes I pick for this fun cooking opportunity.
