DIY Ideas

Each day learn something new, and just as important, relearn something old.

I am fortunate to have friends who are creative and inspire me to explore new ideas.  Last summer I posted Linda Myhre's steampunk jewelry. She is a master at scouring flea markets and repurposing items taking them to a whole new level. In this photo she created a necklace out of old jewelry and a watch face. The charm bracelet has several dangling watch heads and baubles from other pieces of jewelry.
In this photo she made napkin rings from the Dollar Store. On each plastic ring she glued an old earring.

Recently she brought her DIY talents to a luncheon where each guest received a bookmark. I wanted to share her idea since it seems like a great one for a Valentine gift.
