Altars are created to remember family and friends with prayers and traditional dishes served as part of the celebrations. Here in AZ, there are many celebrations and remembrances. The cemetery in Tubac was a busy place with people visiting and decorating grave sites.
Recap of some holiday fun.
What a fun evening filled with good food, games, and friends to share it all with.
I'm sharing some of the foods enjoyed by all.
Black Magic Cupcakes
Black Magic Cupcakes
Followed recipe from https://sockfairies.blogspot.com/2019/10/black-magic-cake.html
The spider cupcakes (with a little imagination) are decorated with chocolate frosting and heavily sprinkled with chocolate sprinkles. Use pretzels for legs and candied eyes. The pumpkin cupcakes are chocolate frosted, sprinkled with crushed Oreos for dirt, with green dyed coconut for grass.
Peanut Butter Halloween Cookies
Directions:
4 hours before serving in a large pitcher place slices from 2 oranges, 1 cup red grapes, and 1 apple sliced. Stir in 1/4 cup sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon Saigon cinnamon. Mix and let sit for 20 minutes. Add in 1 bottle of dry red wine such as Rioja and refrigerate for 4 hours, stirring occasionally. To serve, fill one glass with ice and halfway with red wine and the rest of the glass with Sparkling Cider. Garnish with orange slices. Note Sparkling Cider looks like a bottle of Champagne and I found it in a section with sports drinks at Walmart.
Directions:
Rim the glass with salt. Use a bottle of Ultimate Orange Margarita Mix. Add crushed ice to serve and slip in a gummy worm.

There are step-by-step photos and I bought a bag of frozen Italian meatballs from Costco to shorten the work time.
Halloween Attire
We did not give anyone a direction on what to wear so all was a surprise,
She should have won a prize for Most Creative.
