Arts Off 84's mission to promote works of local artists and provide an art presence to the Pine River, Longville and surrounding areas. This juried event features high end art forms as well as quality handcrafted items.
Many of the locations are what I would call rural so you never know what you'll see. Take for instance these chickens running around at one location. In the back of photo there was a huge chicken coop and
some locations were nested under the trees beside a lake.
There was food
music and plenty of creative arts to browse
lawn art
jewelry
landscape paintings
and even some kid friendly places to explore just to name a few.
An added bonus for us (with some family members) was a stop at Creations of the Lake (not part of the Art Crawl)
A walk down the path entering the property of Lewis's Lodge on Woman Lake (Longville,MN) was like a step into an enchanted land of lush landscape with stunning quilts and whimsical art displayed throughout the gardens. The owners's quilts were not for sale but there were a variety of artists scattered about on the property in several small buildings selling their creations. I was just as dazzled, mesmerized and impressed as on my three other previous visits.
The quilts were stunning. The workmanship and hours that went into each one certainly were impressive as well as the lush landscape the owners maintain themselves.

The photo below is my personal favorite. The ambiance of a woodland setting near a fire pit really caught my attention. Imagine your self outside enjoying the lake views to the left of the quilt.
So I saved my best weekend photo for last. Best in terms of getting all four dogs looking at me and I was not even dangling a doggie treat to get their attention! left to right- Bella, Mulligan, Sadie, Luna
