Spinach Salad

Beat the heat with an easy meal...
Spinach Salad
serves 4-5
Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 package (10 oz.) spinach
  • 1 small red onion sliced in rings 
  • 3 hard boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 small  can water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 1 can bean sprouts, drained or buy fresh from produce
  • crumbled bacon bits 
  • sunflower seeds or glazed almonds or walnuts (packaged in produce section)
Dressing Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 2 TB. Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Mix salad ingredients
  • In a blender on high speed mix well

Serving suggestion:
Add dressing just before serving
