The Unexpected

Frigid below zero temperatures days and days in a row have been enough to send me on a mission to seek out color and warmth. What better place than the local conservatory holiday flower show. It was there I encountered the unexpected. Usually the place is swarming with holiday visitors but I was lucky to get there early and get a straight photo shot of the conservatory without any people around. This indeed is a rare occurrence.
But is was this object below that caught my attention. Can you guess what it is used for?

Notice the man has the object flying above him. He is using his phone to remote control the flying like saucer (high tech) down the whole length of the conservatory.
Give up wondering what he is doing? Its a camera and the man was taking pictures of the poinsettia display from all angles for the newspaper. It was fascinating to watch him.

The vibrant shades of pinks and reds made for stunning displays. What a great afternoon escape.

  1. Your photos are stunning, Sue, especially that first one. Also, how interesting to learn that photos were taken via a hovercraft.

I think I need to visit our local greenhouse for a step inside spring.
