Bringing the Arts to Life Part Two

Creativity knew no bounds at The Northwoods Art and Book Festival August 11th.  It's known for high quality original art pieces in a variety of art media. There was something for everyone to enjoy that day.

Heidi's booth Renewed Rubbish earned her a second place winner in Most Creative category. She creates whimsical repurposed yard art using  trays, pans and bowls. 

Author Bing Puddlepot was on hand to share his book Jimmy Jonny Brownie Stays Up All  Night.

There were several options for those looking for original jewelry. 

Linnea's wood fire artisan bread is always a local favorite.  Her cranberry walnut loaves sell out fast. 

Children's art offered artists a space to create 

and try Make and Take Lake Art. 

Waking Tacos proved to be a crowd favorite as well as a visit to  

MNArt Truck 'Baxter'.  You could step inside the traveling art truck filled with a wide variety of unique items to buy.

   And adding additional excitement to the event was the announcement of ...
