Meet Minnesota Author and Artist ME Fuller

NAC 2020 Author Virtual Tour
Meet Minnesota Writer, Author and Artist ME Fuller
ME Fuller resides in Montevideo, Minnesota. In 2019, she published her first novel, Saving the Ghost.
This is the story of Ellen McInnis and her transformation from the victim of childhood abuse to health and well being in her adult life. Read the first chapter.

Fuller is currently working on a cozy mystery series, Filthy Dirty Garden Gloves. The first in a 4-book series, "Blood on the Bridal Wreath", will be available October 15, 2020.
A departure from Fuller’s serious and even painful first novel, "Blood on the Bridal Wreath" will make you laugh harder than you cried over "Saving the Ghost".
Synopsis:
When Lucille Persons fell face-first into her neighbor’s Bridal Wreath bush, her doting husband was there to break the fall. As he soothed his wife and inspected her minor scrapes, the neighbor, Mrs. Julian Stanche, screamed. “Is that your blood?” Her prize-winning Bridal Wreath’s leaves were certainly ruined. But was it by blood or barn-red paint spilled by the local handyman?

Mrs. Stanche set out to clean and trim her damaged bush when something tumbled from its inner branches. She screamed again for at her feet rested the severed ring finger of her late husband, Julian. Having drowned in a boating accident nine years prior, his body never found, what was her beloved’s finger doing here and now? And where is the rest of Julian Stanche?

Fuller, a visual artist, is a 2017 Hinge Artist in Residence and a recipient of Five Wings Arts Council Individual Artist Project Support Grants for literature in 2016 and 2018.

Fuller works primarily in watercolor and acrylics with some mixed media. In 2019, her painting, “Disappearances. Habitat 1.” was accepted to be exhibited at the Watermark Art Center in Bemidji, MN.

The Autumn Landscape will be a featured auction piece for the Meander Art Crawl this year.

Since moving to Montevideo from Brainerd, ME Fuller has been accepted as a Meander artist for the Upper Minnesota River Art Crawl. The award-winning Meander Art Crawl is a free self-guided tour of artist studios featuring 45 local artists from the Upper Minnesota River Valley. NOTE: Due to the distancing restrictions of COVID-19, The Meander will be held as an online artist auction for the 2020 season.

Fuller is currently working on her series Disappearances/Emergings, a series of visual art pieces that reflect endings and beginnings. For more information, please visit her website at https://mefullerwords.com/ A full catalog of available work will be available soon.
